Cessna Skycatcher lands at golf course, on purpose

A Cessna Skycatcher landed on the fairway of the 18th hole earlier this month at the Crestview Country Club in Wichita, Kansas.

The arrival was part of kick-off festivities for the Wichita Aero Club first-annual open golf tournament. It took place Aug. 1, ahead of a PGA tour event at the golf course.

On a scale of 10, we will give the landing a nine. Had the pilot also putted in a 20-foot birdie before bringing the wheels down, we would have given it a 10.5.

Where is the oddest place that you have landed your bird? Be sure to tell us in the comments below.
